The end of an era

Hey healthy veggie,
Can you believe it’s nearly the end of January? The Christmas songs will be playing again before we know it 😅
But seriously, time is flying and the to-do-list isn’t looking much shorter (does it ever?!).
I’m currently enjoying my ‘rucking’ very much (basically walking with a weighted backpack) and it’s become my go-to ‘get out of the house’ exercise now.
I’m also backing it up with my high-protein meals.
Don’t forget, if you’re trying to lose weight, you do need high protein meals for best results.
They work because the protein keeps you feeling full, so you cut down on the unwanted snacking and late-night cravings.
You also hold onto more muscle as you lose weight, meaning more strength for everyday tasks.
Here are my current go-to recipes for fueling weight loss:
Kat was craving porridge so I made this:
This lentil-bean salad is absolutely delicious for lunch, but you might to make sure you’re sitting on your own in the afternoon 😉
And these Pitas are soooo satisfying… and only take a few minutes at the end of a long day. We’ve had these on repeat for so long now! (summer or winter, doesn’t matter!).
If you want something a bit more hearty then this moussaka never fails. It blew me away the first time I tried it, and has done ever since!

If you’re still feeling lost or overwhelmed by weight loss, make sure you join us at The Vegetarian Protein Fix before we stop our New Year special and bonuses.
We’ll take the struggle away and supply you with exactly what to eat every day (shopping lists too!) for certain weight loss.
In fact, if you don’t lose weight for any reason while following our plan – and feel awesome and vibrant at the same time – then you’ll get your money back.
It’s simple, this works, and it will for you, too.

And finally - this week’s sponsor:
Be part of the 2025 RunDot Project
This is an annual research initiative that helps runners reach their true performance potential. Qualified participants also get 2 free months of run training. Are you a good fit?

Ok, you guys, have a fantastic week!
Speak to you soon,
Dave, James and Hauke
