Less haste, more vitamins

Hey there healthy veggie!

I’m back with a quick email about some of my favourite kitchen hacks and time-savers.

As I mentioned, Amazon has it’s Prime Days running at the moment (16+17 July) so there are some real bargains if you look around.

Here are some ideas to speed things up in the kitchen (and get more vitamins, too!)

Kitchen Essentials

I love smoothies, and I love it even more that my kids love them. Lots of love right there ❤️

But seriously, I’m really pleased that they get a good bunch of fruit from them, and I can get my protein too.

I let them make their own (with supervision) and they come up with some really creative ideas! It makes for a lot of fun in the kitchen.

Here are some to get you started:

I use one of these primarily to spiralize (is that a word?) zucchini/eggplant.

If weight loss or low carb is something you want to do, then replacing regular pasta with ‘zoodles’ is a sure-fire win.

Never heard of zoodles? They rock - check them out below!

Egg muffins (in all their varieties) are a mainstay of our kitchen. I’ve found that silicone muffin cups work FAR better than any other type!

I make one of the versions below at least once a week. If I had to pick, Smokey-Dokey is probably my favourite.
