How to live cheaply as a vegetarian

Hey healthy veggie,

I hope you’ve had an awesome week so far!

Operation Veggie Patch is underway; I’m trying to get it ready before my hospital trip.

I don’t think I’ll have time to get the veg planted, but it should at least be ready to go by the time I come out.

On that note, if anybody needs a rhododendron, let me know 😅.

Along with getting two more breakfast recipes updated and ready for you, I’ve been working on another article last week–how to eat and live more cheaply as a vegetarian.

There may well be some tough financial times coming up, so I’ve put together all the ways I know (and use myself).

This morning I did a week’s shopping of good food for a family of 4 for €117 (which in Germany is honestly very good).

See if you can use a few of these practical tips yourself to save some 💰.

Do you think I missed any? Leave a comment at the bottom of the post and I’ll add it if I think it fits!

And on to the promised 5-minutes breakfasts! Both take just 5 mins to prep–let the oven or fridge do the rest.

First up, amazing crunchy granola! In theory, this will last a few weeks in an airtight container. I say in theory, because I usually eat it all in the first week!

And next, the wonderful Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats. So cosy, tastes like apple pie–for breakfast!

Any of these recipes are guaranteed to be awesome! They’re mega tasty, and personally endorsed by me 🤗.

Remember, we use no AI to generate ANY of our recipes.

And finally, our fitness and sports recipe pack!

If you’re in training or wanting to tone up and build muscle, these recipes will help get you there.

Crammed with protein to get the most out of every rep and run you’re doing 😎

Have a fantastic week 😎

Speak to you soon,

Dave and Hauke

PS. I’ll do my best to send an email next week, will have to play it by ear in the hospital.
