Birthday celebrations
Hey healthy veggie,
I hope you had an awesome weekend. Sorry this email is a few days late - it was Kat’s birthday on Saturday and school holidays so there was a lot going on.
But we still celebrated and we checked out the ‘Herbstmarkt’ (Autumn/Fall market) in our new town - it’s basically a funfair spread across the town. It was pretty cool.
On the night before Kat’s birthday we had cravings for a good wrap, so I dug out my favourite recipe 👇🏽. You can make the pesto yourself or buy some from the store to save time.
Remember, some pestos aren’t veggie because of the cheese they use (containing animal rennet) - especially in Europe, so it’s always worth checking the labels.
Wraps on the mind
Naturally, that got me thinking about all sorts of different wraps, and I’ve just grabbed a load of falafel to the make the next one on the list.
These days I use store-bought falafel. It just saves so much time, and I can focus more time on the kids, work or Kat. Or perhaps even some time for myself (yeah right 😂).
And also, well worth a look 👇🏽
And a wrap without the wrap 🤷🏼♂️
And time for a quick question (dog walking doesn’t count FYI). I’d love to hear your answers!
How often do you get 30 minutes of moderate activity, or 15 minutes of vigorous activity?Moderate: brisk walking, water aerobics, bike, dance, doubles tennis. Vigorous: running, swimming, uphill bike, football, netball, skipping, martial arts. |
